NFL to Use Sideline Medical Tents in 2017
The NFL will begin using sideline medical evaluation tents at all games for the 2017 season. The tents, used by college football teams for several years, will be an important advance in the care NFL players receive on the sideline.
The tents offer more privacy and allow team medical staff to evaluate injured players without distractions. The NFL Players Association, NFL Physicians Society and the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society all support the use of the tents.
