The NFL has released its 2015 Offseason Workout Program calendar.

NFL teams can conduct voluntary offseason workout programs to provide players with training and physical conditioning. Article 21 of the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement states that each team’s official, voluntary nine-week offseason program takes place in three phases:

  • Phase 1: During the first two weeks of the program, activities are limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.
  • Phase 2: The next three weeks may include on-field workouts and individual player instruction as well as drills and team practice conducted on a “separates” basis, meaning that teams cannot conduct live contact drills, or team offense vs. team defense drills.
  • Phase 3: In the program’s last four weeks, teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team activities, or “OTAs.” Live contact drills are not permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed.
