The standings remain tight throughout the NFL as teams enter Week 8 of the 2018 season. Fourteen clubs have a winning record. Since 1990, 88 percent of teams with a winning record through seven games have made the playoffs.

Week 8 kicks off on Thursday night as the Miami Dolphins travel to NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans. Dolphins running back Frank Gore needs only 104 scrimmage yards to surpass Barry Sanders (18,190) for the sixth-most in league history.

The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs square off at Arrowhead Stadium in an AFC West divisional showdown. The Chiefs won the first matchup in Week 4 with a go-ahead four-yard touchdown run by Kareem Hunt with less than two minutes remaining in the game.

This week’s primetime game features a rematch of the 2017 NFC Divisional Playoff game between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings. The game takes center stage at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday Night Football.
