NFL Player Engagement has announced its 2019 offseason developmental programming. The programs encourage current players and NFL Legends to take advantage of the resources offered through the league office and NFL clubs.

Focus areas for the programs include career development, financial planning, continuing education and personal wellness.

“Our off-season programming offers players personal and professional development throughout their NFL careers and beyond,” said Arthur McAfee, Senior Vice President of NFL Player Engagement. “Players who take advantage of these resources can explore their interests in business, enhance their personal brand, establish a financial wellness plan and advance their leadership and special interests advocacy skills.”

Here is a full breakdown of the upcoming offseason programs:

  • Officiating Academy – March 7-9 in Baltimore, MD: Offers attendees a unique on-field experience with NFL & NCAA officials.
  • Speakers Bureau – March 10-13 in Los Angeles, CA: Aims to develop and enhance public speaking, executive leadership and personal brand marketing skills.
  • Personal Finance Camp – March 17-20 in Fort Lauderdale, FL: Introduces attendees to the basics of investing and financial planning.
  • Leadership and Sport Workshop – March 27-29 in Atlanta, GA: Hosted by Morehouse College, the workshop facilitates learning about the intersection of sports and social justice advocacy.
  • Broadcast Boot Camp – April 1-4 in Bowling Green, OH: Explores multiple on-air job functions in television/media.
