The NFL’s 2020 professional development programs encourage current players and NFL Legends to maximize the resources offered through the league office and NFL clubs. These programs focus on career development, financial education, and enhancing personal, psychological and physical wellness.

Here’s a look at this year’s programs.

Business Academy – March 2-5 in Ann Arbor, MI

In its fifth year and in partnership with the University of Michigan, the event provides players with the fundamentals of business management and entrepreneurship, real estate and franchising.

Speakers Bureau – March 15-18 in Los Angeles, CA

In partnership with the University of Southern California, participants enhance their skills in public speaking and personal branding.

Officiating Academy – March 19-21 in Baltimore, MD

This program gives attendees a hands-on introduction into officiating. Participants take part in film study and learn the fundamentals of officiating, before working real game situations with a full 7-person officiating crew.

Personal Finance Camp – March 22-25 in Fort Lauderdale, FL

The NFL Personal Finance Camp provides attendees a heightened sense of control over their long-term financial futures and investment processes.

Broadcast Boot Camp – April 6-9 in Bowling Green, OH

The Broadcast Boot Camp allows players to explore multiple on-air jobs in television and media. Held in partnership with the NFL’s broadcast partners, players learn what life is like in the broadcast booth and receive hands-on guidance from industry leaders.

Bridge to Success

The annual Bridge to Success program provides players the opportunity to celebrate their past career, assess their present, and get equipped with best practices to promote future success.
